STEPS TO REPRODUCE THE PROBLEM:

Install
http://repository.maemo.org/rtcomm/pool/diablo/free/a/osso-accounts-plugin-idle_0.2-1.4_armel.deb
Go to Chat 
Tap Add Account
Pick IRC (yes it appears)
Type any nick and server
Tap Next
Tap Finish

EXPECTED OUTCOME:
Account appears

ACTUAL OUTCOME:
No accounts set up

always
