Sounds like a NAT/firewall issue.

David, can you answer some of the questions listed at
https://wiki.maemo.org/Bugs:Stock_answers#SIP.2Frtcom.2FInternet_Call?  A
packet capture would be particularly useful (to determine whether any SIP
INVITEs actually arrive at the tablet).
