https://bugs.maemo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=5994 ------- Comment #7 from mike_morrison at alumni.uvic.ca 2009-11-03 23:55 GMT+3 ------- (In reply to comment #6) > This seems to be a problem with the correspondent's SMS center: the sent time > as reported in the message is offset from the actual UTC time. The detailed > display confirms this, showing the correct time of receipt. > > Does it differ depending on whom you are receiving messages from (and their SMS > center operators)? I have received text messages from people on Telus, Rogers, Fido, and Virgin (in Victoria, BC, Canada). All are off by 5 hours. I would think if the issue was with the SMS center, it would have been reported and fixed long long ago? So are you certain there is no way this could be a bug in the n900? It also seems odd that Olivier would have the same issue in (presumably) a different part of the world with totally different providers. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.maemo.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Replies to this email are NOT read, instead please add comments at https://bugs.maemo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=5994 ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug, or are watching the assignee.
