https://bugs.maemo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=6055 Summary: Allow way to do 'something' with SMS content (create Contact, copy, etc.) Product: Chat & Call & SMS Version: unspecified Platform: N900 OS/Version: Maemo Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: Low Component: Messaging AssignedTo: rtcomm at maemo.org ReportedBy: tim at samoff.com QAContact: im-chat-bugs at maemo.bugs SOFTWARE VERSION: 2009-41.10 STEPS TO REPRODUCE THE PROBLEM: 1. Call Goog411, or some other directory information service that allows the result to be sent to your phone via SMS 2. Request info and have it sent to your phone EXPECTED OUTCOME: 1. Ability to save incoming SMS as a new Contact 2. Ability to copy content from SMS 3. Some other option? (How about being able to forward an SMS as an email?) ACTUAL OUTCOME: No way to do anything with an SMS except click links and phone number -- addresses don't even get linkafied properly. REPRODUCIBILITY: Always. OTHER COMMENTS: See attached screenshot to see how Goog411 sends SMSes and how they would be perfect candidates for creating new Contacts. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.maemo.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Replies to this email are NOT read, instead please add comments at https://bugs.maemo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=6055 ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug, or are watching the assignee.
