Here -- http://juick.com/Unatine/394204 (beware, Russian-only) -- people were
able to get USSD working in 1.2009.42-11 by directly communicating with a
modem:

ATZ
OK
AT+CUSD=1,"*102#",15

OK

Then

Баланс: 912.62р.

What it shows that it is possible to run USSD commands on 1.2009.42-11 even
though it is not yet user-friendly. Quite a UNIX way though.
