Summary: telepathy-gabble sometimes stucks in busyloop after
                    waking the device
Product: Chat & Call & SMS
           Version: 4.1.3 (5.2008.43-7)
          Platform: N810
        OS/Version: Maemo
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: minor
          Priority: Low
         Component: XMPP
        AssignedTo: rtcomm at maemo.org
        ReportedBy: wnd+maemo at iki.fi
         QAContact: xmpp-bugs at maemo.bugs

SOFTWARE VERSION:
5.2008.43-7

EXACT STEPS LEADING TO PROBLEM:
(0. Set up Jabber/XMPP account such as GTalk.)
(0. Disconnect from the Internet. See comments.)
1. Lock the device and wait until the display is switched off.
2. Unlock the screen using hardware slider.

EXPECTED OUTCOME:
telepathy-gabble doesn't consume all available CPU time.

ACTUAL OUTCOME:
telepathy-gabble consumes all available CPU time and needs to be killed
manually.

REPRODUCIBILITY:
Rarely. I have had GTalk account configured on my device for nearly two years
and this has happened maybe just ten times.

EXTRA SOFTWARE INSTALLED:
Quite a few, but this is unlikely relevant here. None should affect telepathy
framework.

OTHER COMMENTS:
- The device doesn't need to be connected to the Internet for this bug to
occur. In fact, it could be that the bug occurs only when the device is not
connected. At least the last two times this happened the device was not online.
- I can't recall if this bug has ever occured when simply making the display
switch on (without unlocking the screen).
- Until now I've never thought to try if XMPP accounts still work when gabble
is in a busyloop or if the situation can be resolved by connecting to the
Internet.
