https://bugs.maemo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=5348 Summary: Trouble connecting to Fritz!Box SIP server Product: Chat & Call & SMS Version: unspecified Platform: All OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: Low Component: SIP AssignedTo: rtcomm at maemo.org ReportedBy: lennart at poettering.net QAContact: sip-bugs at maemo.bugs N900 Maemo 5, 1.2009.41-10 At least in Germany Fritz!Box routers are very very popular and they have an internal SIP server which can be used to place call on POTS/ISDN. Unfortunately I failed to make the N900 connect to it, although the N810 had no trouble. I used the idential settings from the N810 on the N900, with the exception that on the N810 there where two fields in the username line where the N900 only has one: a part before the @ and a part after the @. On th N810 I hence filled in "620" and "fritz.box" in two fields, while on the n900 i simply filled them as "620 at fritz.box" in one field. This scheme worked for my other SIP contacts. The Fritz!Box does not detect any SIP login. And in the "Voip IM accounts" lists on the N900 the item always appears as "Not signed in", regardless what I try. There is no useful error message I could find anywhere. My other SIP accounts (Sipgate.de, Fedora Project SIP) seem to work fine. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.maemo.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Replies to this email are NOT read, instead please add comments at https://bugs.maemo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=5348 ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug, or are watching the assignee.
