STEPS TO REPRODUCE THE PROBLEM:
Put in invalid twitter credentials and try and do an 'update'.

EXPECTED OUTCOME:
Update fails saying it could not log into twitter

ACTUAL OUTCOME:
Update hangs and/or sometimes says 'unknown error'.

REPRODUCIBILITY:
always

EXTRA SOFTWARE INSTALLED:
Hermes from extras-devel

OTHER COMMENTS:
When i removed twitter credentials this app worked wonderfully.  Would love
integration with other services in the future :)
