According to UI spec1.5, section 6.4, "The Phone number is automatically
imported from SIM card if it is available."

Quoting from int-90147, int-127357:
"Some SIM cards do not contain or support the user's own phone-number."
and "I am not even sure there are real sim-cards out there in the
world that include the phone-number. It's just *theoretically* possible to put
the own phone-number on the sim-card, but no operator seems to care to do it."

If you are TOTALLY sure that this is available on your SIM card then itäs a
bug and I ask you to provide Provider details.
Now I wonder if we have a sim-card writer to add a msisdn in the office. :-P
