N900 with Maemo5 (1.2009.42-11) version

EXACT STEPS LEADING TO PROBLEM: 
(Explain in detail what you do (e.g. tap on OK) and what you see (e.g. message
Connection Failed appears))
1. Click on Call Log
2. Click on the contact name to send an SMS

EXPECTED OUTCOME:

Only the contact details are shown from which only calls can be made

ACTUAL OUTCOME:

No button option to send SMS !!!

REPRODUCIBILITY:
(always, less than 1/10, 5/10, 9/10)

OTHER COMMENTS:

This bug is surprising since one can send an SMS from the call log to numbers
but cannot send SMS to contacts in the call log. Not sure if this is linked to
bug 6651
