And for many countries (obviously not english) it is quite easy to make a mistake and only one accentuated character in the SMS switches it to 16-bit encoding. Yes, you can see the final length of the SMS, but it is anoying to fix the SMS after writting when you are used to write accentuated or special characters because of your mother language (spanish, french, italian, german ...). However, you rule.
