Guys - apologies if my emails have discouraged anyone, my point is simply that
communication between Nokia and the general user community is poor. I'm
comparing Nokia here with other open source projects, where the developers get
involved directly with the bug reports - this isn't happening in this case,
hence my complaint. This bugzilla is pretty much a black hole. :(

I don't know what other 770-related initiatives Nokia have going on elsewhere,
but this bugzilla is the only real oppurtunity that users of the Nokia 770
device have on feeding back information, enhancement and bugs. And it's a pretty
flawed process. My personal issue isn't with any specific bug, it's with this
defect tracking process and the near total lack of worhwhile feedback coming
from Nokia - does Nokia want our help to identify and fix bugs? The message I'm
getting is "Nah, not really interested thanks".

Maybe you think I'm overreacting, but look at it from our point of view - ie.
those users who wants to help improve the software but end up wonder why they
should bother after the first few bug reports get no worthwhile response from Nokia.

I appreciate you're all trying your best to rectify the situation, and my
patience will no doubt last for many more months as I love my 770, but I do
wonder how much better it all could be if Nokia just communicated with their
users more often - ironic really, considering Nokia is a communications company...
