Is it possible that this bug is related to bug #2290? (The device won't come
back from soft-off mode by a double push on the power button.)

Actually quite a few n810 devices have this problem too. The 'three minutes
fix' does not work. Are there any programmatic way to access and/or configure
the charging/battery monitoring functionality? Just a hint but it may help
fixing the problem.
