Simon, maybe the kernerl patch for the OMAP 2420 in the file
http://www.muru.com/linux/n8x0/n8x0-2008-07-03.tar.gz (credit to tony lundgren,
I think) can help you out. I believe reading through the patch there was some
sort of fix regarding a hang due to a dsp task not responding. a patch for the
specific version Diablo runs can be located here:
