Summary: DSP kernel crashes with bus error if dsp task doesn't
                    answer poll
           Product: System software
           Version: 4.1
          Platform: All
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Keywords: crash, enhancement-it2008
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: Low
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: nobody at maemo.org
        ReportedBy: S.G.Pickering at bath.ac.uk
         QAContact: hafqa at maemo.org

The DSP kernel crashes with a bus error if a dsp task fails to respond to the
poll message sent by the DSP Gateway (Linux kernel).

Ideally the dsp task in question would be killed and the kernel would continue
running. This is not a major use issue as it tends to only happen during
testing and even then the DSP will reset itself.

It would be nice if it didn't happen for those testing code though, especially
if they are mapping the framebuffer, as it causes a watchdog reset as the
second attempt to map the framebuffer fails and stops dsp_dld from continuing.
