This feature is targeted to
http://maemo.org/development/documentation/ . We had to get rid of
TinyMCE for that section since it was messing our code examples and
nobody could find a way to make it respect <pre>.

I don't know if we will be ever able to get back TinyMCE back there but,
the absence of it would make easier the implementatiOn of the annotation
feature?

By 'generic feature' you mean a Midgard component for anyone to use?
What % of that time corresponds to a maemo-specific implementation? Does
the lack of TinyMCE help saving time here? 

Is this a rough-rough estimation or have you got a look to the source
code of that module (or any similar implementation elsewhere - do you
know any?)
