The http version of maemo.org is static and is cached with squid. The https version is dynamic, based on your login/preferences etc. This version can not be cached by squid. The dynamic version is a lot heavier for the infrastructure. There is already a project going on for hardware/server upgrades, so that we can be able to remove the static cache. Marcell and Eero are discussing the hardware options with the ISP. If everything goes the way it is planned, this http/https problem should be a thing of the past soon. > > Cheers, > Dave. > - Niels
