Hi Tim and everyone else following the Look & Feel progress,

So, as Dave said, we are working on basically 3 proposals for *Look &
Feel*based on the same content structure/architecture:

1. TIM<http://samoff.maemobox.org/maemo_redesign/samoff-maemo.org-redesign_idea_0009b-loggedout.png>
2. ANDRE: Dark <http://openbossa.andrecunha.com/HOMEB.jpg> / Light
<http://openbossa.andrecunha.com/HOME5.jpg>3.
GLAUBERT<http://wiki.maemo.org/images/0/08/HOME_06.png>

Following the dark/white discussion, I proposed a new version (Light) of my
previous proposal just changing the colors while I was waiting for todays
meeting. I agree with what was previously said that the white backgrund
offer a more comfortable experience for longer periods of usage.

Then, why did I made the color modifications in my previous layout instead
of reworking the latest proposals made by Glaubert, as requested by Tim?

Its simply because I still think that:

- in this layout <http://openbossa.andrecunha.com/HOME5.jpg> "Clicable
areas" are well defined in the middle of the content (in your proposal
aswell, but not here <http://wiki.maemo.org/images/0/08/HOME_06.png>)
- Titles/text/links are big enough for reading anywhere (desktops,
tablets...) and they are easily identified. Almost every text is displayed
in size 14pt, which I think is clear enough for tablets too.
- content areas are well separeted but still not leaving many blank spaces.
- the color scheme has lots of contrasts which brings out the texts

Thats it,
since content is pretty much forzen within all the options, those are some
design critheria I considered important.
Hope to see more versions..

Thanks!

Cunha
