There was merely *one* blog post with the general idea of a council as far as I can tell. Everything else came *after* the process was (more or less) fixed. And discussions on the wiki is just something that should be avoided in the future in my opinion (and reading other posts I am not alone with this). With the community list things got better for that matter, as I would not expect every "community member" to be subscribed to the "maemo-devel" list and even read every post on it, especially if it is off-topic. > You'll note that I specifically encouraged discussion on this topic when > I took the task on the 12th of August. It was changed, but it has clearly been pointed out, that it was actually a "bit late", which I tend to agree. But this was mainly due to the time frame of less than a day from "semi final draft" to "action". Thus, > - Candidates should have 100 karma points as of tonight, 23:59. This is not about the election itself. It is about the terms and rules. All the coverage came *after* the (final) terms had been announced. My point is just, that the drafts should have been brought up to the planet in a timely manner and I hope the future council will do so with the next drafts to come. Best wishes, Jonas
