Ryan, > I recommend reading up a bit here: https://wiki.maemo.org/Task:Maemo_brand > :) No disrespect but I'm well aware of the Maemo brand page on the wiki. I was just giving my impression of what the "community" might encompass. You are correct in saying that not everyone who owns a tablet contributes to the community, but as someone who works for a large corporation, I can tell you that _my_ company regards all users of our products & services as the community, not just those who "contribute." So, there is some disparity between what Nokia Maemo might view as the community and what you (and other) who are part of the community (or subset of the community) are discussing. Again, my last description was just an illustration -- one that I purposely left nokia.com out of in order to simplify the example. As someone who contributes at all levels of the Maemo Community, I'd hate to see one area discounted in its relationship to the others because it doesn't contain maemo.org in the domain name. There are just too many valuable/helpful/knowledgable people who might be technical enough to participate in a discussion forum (e.g., itT), but not on a mailman mailing list. Likewise, I know a lot of people who try to keep their online memberships to a minimum (I'm not one of them). So, if you were a first-time tablet user, what would you join first? itT? Or, maemo.org?
