Midgard can do this, and it was indeed proposed on earlier stages of
the website. But maybe now with the redesign would be a good time?

Midgard has a positioning service that can keep a track where you are
using various kinds of information:
* Plazes (if you use MaemoPlazer for instance)
* Yahoo! Fireeagle
* GeoRSS-enabled Planet feed
* ICBM meta tag on your home page
* Exif location tags of photos you post to Midgard
* Manually entered location
...but not yet Ohloh though. Would be easy to add.

And as for visualization, we can do various things, including
geotagging content you create and showing people on a Google or
OpenStreetMap map. See for instance my blog in http://bergie.iki.fi/

Should we push this forward, maybe in the next website sprint?
