Well, perhaps makes sense for politics since politicians are by 
definition already part of the game (otherwise they wouldn't join 
politics) but I wonder whether it make sense in community like this.

People are different and it may be because of different culture too but 
personally it wouldn't cross my mind to nominate somebody else first because

- I expect the person herself to know the best whether she wants it or not
- I don't want to put anyone into uneasy situation by finger pointing
- I don't want to deprive someone of the possibility of his own 
announcement (i.e. be the first one to tell us)
- I would be afraid that she accepts because being pushed not because it 
is her choice
