Thanks Quim. I'll follow the protocol you describe. You're right that our situation is "tricky" so I had a suspicion there might be problems in expanding Maemo Bugzilla... I only suggested what I did because I knew that as I was leaving Nokia there was a movement to open Pilots up to the public (but to what degree I am uncertain, especially since the program has been quiet for months). Also, it may have appeared like I was blaming timsamoff for miscommunication.
