I have sometimes seen the project get delayed because MohammedAG is temporarily unavailable, and that there is uncertainty or lack of input over how some decisions get made, etc. What did MohammadAG say to this proposal? He was the only person who stepped up to do this, and has since been joined by merlin1991 et al. The Community Council are a facilitating body, rather than an owning body, so it's in your remit to assist MAG in this, if he's asked for help. But I don't think you have the power for a "hostile" takeover, which is why I'm asking. Of course, the CSSU could always be forked - but that's dependent on having someone to do the work. It's "doers" that Maemo, and the CSSU is missing, not people to sit by the sidelines and direct. For example, the stable branch came out because someone was willing to put in the work to define how it should be created, how it should be managed and then to do that. Many people *said* there should be a stable Maemo 5 CSSU, but if someone isn't willing to help with the work, so what? What would the CSSU TSG do? Can you give concrete examples? As a *technical* steering, how would candidates' eligibility be established so that a sensible and consistent set of architectural decisions would be made?
