Yes. It's a bit dated (it uses in places some deprecated API calls) so you'll 
need to consult the GTK+ API docs while you're playing with the code in the 
tutorial so that you don't learn to use the obsolete stuff.

Also note that the version of GTK+ in maemo SDK is 2.6.x and the newest 
version of GTK+ API docs is for 2.7.x (you can find 2.6.x API docs in the 
same place though, ask google if unsure).
