am I getting smth wrong here? right now I'm developing on an ipaq h5550 with 
open embedded and familiar linux... there are libmad implentations tons of 
mp3 players... why cant one use the libmad library?

not that I know what I'm talking about, but I've seen posts on the open 
embedded lists about build support for nokia 770...
