Hi,

JFYI:
I managed to run some applications only using Xvnc. 
With Xnest some of them (openttd for example) just crashed Xnest:

Maemo scratchbox:
[sbox-i386: ~] > export DISPLAY=10.162.252.2:2
[sbox-i386: ~] > /usr/games/openttd
X connection to 10.162.252.2:2.0 broken (explicit kill or server shutdown).

Xnest side:
X Error of failed request:  BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes)
  Major opcode of failed request:  1 (X_CreateWindow)
  Serial number of failed request:  252
  Current serial number in output stream:  257

And with Xvnc everything works like a charm!
