iPaq and similar devices can playback movies in 320x240 at full framrate
given the video was coded to that resolution, i.e. no scaling required.
So we should at least be able to do the same.
And to use more of the screen we could simply double all pixels and get
640x480 at almost no CPU cost - just more bus bandwidth to transfer the
frames. But it seems that the graphics itself is already accelarted to
some extend so that should also be possible (hopefully). And with
640x480 you should be able to quite enjoyably watch a movie ;)
