Hi, I am using RH9 and trying to follow the tutorial but the file http://repository.maemo.org/stable/1.0/arm/Maemo_Dev_Platform_RS_v1.0.tgz mentioned at http://www.maemo.org/platform/docs/tutorials/Maemo_tutorial.html#Building-for-ARM seems to be missing (its size is 0)? Another bigger problem for me is that when I run "af-sb-init.sh start", then in the Xnest I see the grey background image with the letters "Home" above it, but I don't see the "start-button" left to the "Home". And also the "taskbar" on the left side window is not there. I've listed the errors on the bottom of this mail. It mentions some "sapwood-server". I've searched around and have tried running /targets/SDK_PC/usr/lib/sapwood/sapwood-server & manually. After that I see "** INFO: server started" and see that process in the "ps"-output. But nothing changes in the Xnest window, even if I run "af-sb-init.sh stop/start". I wonder if my problems are maybe coming from the RedHat's LANG being set to en_US.UTF-8. I've tried running "env LANG=C ./login" but it didn't help. Also, my home dir at the laptop is a bit unusual - it is /opt/home/afarber and I was getting error messages "can not cd to /opt/home/afarber" each time I was running "./login" or "sbox-config -st ..." So I created a link /opt/home/afarber -> /home/afarber (several times) and those messages went away... Also I had to "mkdir /home/afarber/MyDocs" because otherwise the "af-sb-init.sh start" kept printing "can not create /home/afarber/MyDocs/foo.txt" and other files... So, I have deviated a little bit from tutorial and wonder if anyone has an idea, what's wrong. If not, I will try to move my home dir and try all the steps again. Thank you. The error was 'BadValue'.
