As I recall, Abiword and Gnumeric are already ported to maemo, right?

On PC Abiword supports the opening of word documents and Gnumeric the
opening of excel files. I don't know about the maeomo port though...

Thats why it's good that OO is moving to the OASIS document format that
is also supported by (future releases) of Abiword :)
