Maybe somebody from the Canola > team can shed some light on it. :) Ouch! You guys really want ogg, don't you? :-) Yes, we do store info on files using id3v2 standard. If files don't provide this, we add, otherwise we just update. Using the id3lib, provided by maemo platform and considered one of the best libs on this area. We plan to provide ogg and even pluggable media formats, but it didn't made in this beta and I don't know if it will be in the next, but it will be available in future.
