Almost ;)
The problem with Java in general is that Sun gives you the sourcecode of
the reference implementation which already includes ARM support but it
does not allow to redistribute any modified source or binary. The only
official exception from that rule is Blackdown but they do not have J2ME
at all.
Or of course you can go the certification path but that will cost you
some $.

So, feasable, yes.
It has even been done, yes.
A good way to go? No.

Probably look into Mono instead?
