Hello, I compiled some applications for ARM but the resulting libs are unusually large compared to the official debian arm feed. For octave I used exactly the same gcc and g77 that was also used for the official debian feed (as in the build-log file) together with the same configure and build commands and the same libs. Still scratchbox created a liboctave.so that is almost ten times(!) as large as the one from the debian stable feed. I tried to run the small arm binaries from the stable feed with the Nokia 770 and they work perfectly but I would like to create a package for the nokia installer that requires the /var/lib/install path. Octave is not the only application that results in oversized libs. I got the same problem for Interviews. I also tried to reinstall scratchbox from scratch but same result. Is this a common problem? Thanks, Arno Onken
