For animation to work while the application is executing a function, I suppose you have to use threads.

Hello!

I have a primitive animation problem:

    gtk_banner_show_animation(app, "Searching");
    slow_searching_function();
    gtk_banner_close(app);

There's no animation.
Why? And how do I solve the problem?
