Where did you get x11vnc for the N800?  Or are you using the 770
version?

I don't know why.

I can see how that would be annoying.  I've experienced that with ssh
sessions to the 770: a short while after it blanks its screen the ssh
session freezes until I tap to wake the tablet up.
