I'm seeing something like this too.  For me it occurs most frequently
when I type my VNC Viewer password, which contains two 3s.  The first
3 is usually OK, but the second one hardly ever registers until I've
tried 3 or 4 times.

Another case is navigating menus where the "mouse" needs to be "held
down" the whole time (Emacs via VNC Viewer).  Almost always, I don't
get as far as the menu item that I want, because the N800 thinks I've
lifted the stylus up - when in fact it's still touching the screen.

Would be great if this was a software problem, but my current
impression is that something about the N800 screen is a lot less good
than the 770.
