True, but according to one e-mail to this list (at http://www.gossamer-threads.com/lists/maemo/developers/14191?search_string=pkg-config;#14191 ), there is a bug in the maemo 3.0 SDK install script that prevents the script from working if scratchbox isn't installed to /scratchbox.
