[maemo-developers] Developing for maemo...

	Thanks, Tom... 

	What will this mean for the general IT public, though? If an app is
made with Ruby, will it run on all maemo devices or will people have
to install a bunch of extra software? Or, will it just be contained
in a couple of libs that can be downloaded with an app?

 It is true that the ruby bindings are not as complete as the python
bindings
 right now. This will change pretty quickly. I've almost finished
libosso support
 and the Hildon bindings have been complete for quite some time. I
hope to make
 a major version release in the next week or two.
