Here's a good reason to switch from OMAP to iMX31 in next gen device.... Combine this with AMD's decision to open source the specs. AMD today announced Freescale Semiconductor will license its 2D and 3D graphics technology. Freescale Semiconductor will use the AMD graphics technologies to equip its i.MX processors with OpenGL ES 2.0 and OpenVG 1.0 technologies.
