[maemo-developers] The Problem of Battery Status, UUID and Screensaver!

How to use C programming language to check the battery status(include whether it's in charge)? How to get the UUID of N810?And how to make an application to ignore screensaver! I am doing a GPS application！^_^Hope your help!
