[maemo-developers] libSDL

I also want microphone capture under the N800. On linux I was using the SDL_audioin.so library or libportaudio.so for this but these appear not work under N800 too.
I can only think that the N800 uses seperate devices for input and output ?
Has anyone managed to access the microphone input device on the N800?

  Which is understandable as I think the N800 uses something like /dev/pcm1 or something.

  I am using the libSDL.so libraries provided with the N800 and just wondered if there is something in a config file somewhere that I need to change as It seems odd that SDL would be provided if it didnt work.

  Any help is appreciated,
