(I mistakenly posted this to the pymaemo list on 2/2 - resending here) I had a rare case of bad luck today while installing Canola2b2 on my 770: The download and installation went OK (Canola runs from the command line), but at the very end the device ran out of internal memory and could not write to the filesystem anymore. This seems to have happened when the apps menu was about to be updated, because now the GUI menu is blank, and /home/user/.osso/menus/applications.menu has zero length. After freeing some space and rebooting I tried to install a couple of tiny apps (like leafpad) to see if the menu would be rebuilt. The installations were successful but the menu is still empty. Is there a script somewhere I can invoke manually to rebuild my applications.menu ? (fortunately I have simple launcher as a Home applet so I can still run xterm :-) TIA, fpp
