Hi all,

I've to add another thing... even on this PC (on which USB Networking
was working fine) if I disconnect the cable and I connect it again, I
cannot have usb-networking working anymore. In the dmesg of this PC I
get these errors:

[ 829.444387] usb0: unregister 'cdc_ether' usb-0000:00:07.2-2, CDC
Ethernet Device
[ 836.877218] usb 1-2: new full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 3
[ 837.001017] usb 1-2: device descriptor read/64, error -71
[ 837.224727] usb 1-2: device descriptor read/64, error -71
[ 837.440448] usb 1-2: new full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 4
[ 837.560273] usb 1-2: device descriptor read/64, error -71
[ 837.783991] usb 1-2: device descriptor read/64, error -71
[ 837.999717] usb 1-2: new full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 5
[ 838.407185] usb 1-2: device not accepting address 5, error -71
[ 838.519071] usb 1-2: new full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 6
[ 838.926529] usb 1-2: device not accepting address 6, error -71
[ 890.373275] usb 1-2: new full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 7

If I try to bring up the usb0 interface.

The first time I connected the cable, the usb0 interface was bring up
automatically.
