Hi,

That's the error you get if it was compiled for x86 architecture and running on the ARM. You need the Scratchbox toolchain with the ARMEL toolchain (glibc2.5-armel).

Subject: Program works fine in Scratchbox Chinook but does not work in Nokia N800

Hi everyone,

I wrote a simple program in Scratchbox using Hildon and Gtkmm library (on Ubuntu 7.10). Everything worked fine in Scratchbox but after I transferred the executable to N800 and tried to run it, this error message appeared:
Line 1: syntax error: "(" unexpected

Anyone has any idea why it doesn't work? Thank you very much in advance.
