[maemo-developers] putting application in the extras menu

Dear community,

I have an application written for N810. This application is pre pre 
alpha and will take a lot more time to come to market.
But I have to demo this app to other people. Now I m supposed to give 
the N810 tablet to a person who is not expected to run it from terminal 
inside N810.
Is it possible to create an icon in the extras section or some other 
section for this application without making the application available to 
whole community at present?
