It also makes sense that SDK and related tools are next to each other, as Juha pointed out. But then again, I understand those tools are not something end users and even many developers will go and use by themselves, the hassle of needing to have them in two repos so extras is self-contained in terms of dependencies... There is also the precedent of ESBox, Pluthon and other software developed by Nokia and present in extras because it's not 100% officially supported... So well, if Juha (owner of those tools) would end up seeing more benefits than problems we could have these tools in extras.
