The version number is incremented when an app is packaged _and shipped_. Submitting to the autobuilder to 'check it builds' is similar to running gcc to 'check it compiles'. You don't increment the version number each time you do that. (If we did that I would run out of numbers!) Then, once built you can do a test install and see if you need to tweak a path or something; again you don't record all that in different changelog entries.
