Make sure you understand the terms and conditions of the libraries  
that you use. Specifically the http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GNU_General_Public_License 
. Look closely at the license for GTK+ as well, and read this about  
that license: http://www.gnu.org/licenses/why-not-lgpl.html

You should also note that Nokia is developing a system for using their  
commercial Ovi service to sell applications on Maemo as well.
