[maemo-developers] [libcityinfo issue] Where is the cities databases located?

Hello everyone,

I referenced a bug yesterday  : https://bugs.maemo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=6359


Here is the problem : when using geolocation in photo app, IM status ... in
France, the displayed country is Tahiti while city and street infos are ok.

I dig up in the code and think the problem comes from the libcityinfo.. or
perhaps the cities database.
Tahiti is owned by France, so I guess it should share the country code FR.
When the reverse lookup is done with the GPS Coords, Tahiti is retreive
instead of France...

I am not sure this is the case, but the libcityinfo code seems not opened
and I don't know where is located the database for this (as mentioned there
: http://maemo.org/api_refs/5.0/beta/libcityinfo/)

Does anyone know more about it?
