Well, the original attempt was Maemo Select (
http://maemo.nokia.com/maemo-select/), which basically died from neglect as
it was seen as a stepchild by both
Ovi and maemo.org, and considering how self-sufficient they
are, it seems to me it will be hard for such initiatives to survive
on their own...
